Dr. Samantha Tippy is a licensed clinical psychologist available remotely for adult patients. Dr. Tippy completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology (2016) and Doctor of Clinical Psychology (2018) degrees at Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. She trained extensively in private practice and government facilities, working directly with juveniles and adults within the justice system. After completing her degree, Dr. Tippy moved into full-time correctional psychology where she currently serves as coordinator for several substance use programs for currently incarcerated adult males.
As a psychologist licensed in three state jurisdictions, Dr. Tippy emphasizes accurate diagnosis and evidenced-based treatment protocols to best meet the clinical goals of her patients. She utilizes both an individual and cognitive-behavioral approach to care which relies on patient-provider collaboration and treatment interventions rooted in research. Dr. Tippy values consultation with other providers to maximize treatment outcomes holistically and foster sustained recovery.
