Victoria Faustino Schmitt is a nurse practitioner who was born and raised in the Philippines and have immigrated to the US in her 20's. She has multicultural experience as she had worked as a psychiatric nurse in the Philippines and various areas in nursing field in London and the US. She has been a nurse practitioner since 2007 and mainly in psychiatry in the last 3 1/2 years. Embracing the mental health and decreasing the stigma of mental illness, she firmly believes that " We can not change our past but we can always change about how we feel with our present and work to get a meaningful future". Thus, decreasing a lot of symptoms of depression and anxiety. Aside from her master of nursing and dual board certified in adult health (2007) and psychiatric and mental health across lifespan (2020), she credits life as her education having treated people in all culture and all walks of life.
