Angela Connor, MA LCPC

Masters in Clinical Psychology/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Angela Connor

Angela Connor is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and has been with the JCCR since 2012.  She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology specializing in children and adolescents from Lewis University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University.  Though having specialized in working with children and adolescents, she is experienced in working with individuals of all ages and has a special interest working with those in emerging adulthood.   Aside from her private practice work, Angela's diverse background of counseling experiences include having worked in a psychiatric nursing home, foster care services, employee assisted programs (EAPs), and has served as a supervisor in community mental health.

Angela truly values the importance of finding a therapist that is the right fit and you feel you can connect to in your work together.  During your initial appointment, you can expect to spend the time allowing her to get to know you and gain understanding of the reasons you are seeking support, all at your own pace.  This time will be used to take those first steps towards change and building a trusting therapeutic relationship.  Together, you will work towards developing an individualized treatment plan specific to your emotional needs and personal recovery.

Because Angela understands how hectic life can be, she offers appointments during the week as well as on the weekends.  If you are interested in learning more or scheduling an appointment with Angela, please don't hesitate to call.
