John Jauch, MA LCPC is one of the founding partners of the Joliet Center and has over 15 years of full-time clinical experience in hospital and outpatient settings. John earned his undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago and graduated Cum Laude. He then continued to Roosevelt University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. John is a professional member of the American Psychological Association and the Illinois Counseling Association. He is also an adjunct professor at The Chicago School for Professional Psychology.
John began his training at Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Hospital in Chicago in 1996 where he worked with adults, children, and geriatric patients. In late 1999 he was recruited by the Midwest Center for Neurobehavioral Medicine in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois to serve as a research coordinator and to administer psychological and psychiatric tests. John has extensive research and clinical experience and is certified to administer a wide variety of scales measuring intelligence, mood, anxiety, and psychosis.
John is also a certified hypnotist and creates individualized sessions for a variety of different indications including but not limited to anxiety, depression, weight loss, insomnia, sports performance, self-esteem, pain management, and smoking cessation.
John works with children, adolescents, adults,geriatrics, couples, families and groups with the following conditions:
